Took a LOT of Words!
Here’s the skinny on our privacy policy: If you give us information, we’re going to use it to fulfill your request and share it as necessary. You know… if you give us your address, we have to tell the postal or courier service in order to get your package there. Makes sense, right? If you search for something using the Search box, some piece of tech needs to ‘remember’ what you searched, so it can return results to YOU and not to some other guy or gal. If you have an account and choose “Remember Me” on the login screen, it’s gotta be stored somewhere.
That pretty much sums it up!
But, sadly, because we live in a litigious world and pirates will be pirates*, we had to use a lot more words than that to comply with GDPR. {And we don’t even offer services to the EU!} And is it possible we missed something? Well, yes, actually, it is, and if you have questions, comments, or feedback, we welcome it. Use the Contact link in the menu up there or the link below to share your thoughts.
*But not the fun, sweet, mythical pirates we refer to occasionally here at Nautical Boutique Co. Just to be clear. 😉
